As part of a large grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), UpDIG created an integrated online project metrics and management platform for iDE’s Rural Prosperity Initiative (RPI) in four African and Asian countries, and produced a gap analysis and subsequent audit of the opportunities for use of microfinance by smallholder farmer participants of the RPI. UpDIG also produced a series of video interviews with RPI farmers as part of a final “Lessons Learned” analysis of the four-year program, which were used by BMGF to refresh their organization-wide agricultural grant strategy.
